Isn’t Christmas the most magical time of the year? December carries with it a certain warmth and charm—it’s the holiday season, the last chapter of the year, and a time when festive vibes fill the air. Having studied in a convent school, I fondly remember how December always meant Christmas celebrations followed by joyful vacations. The decorations, carols, and that excitement of something special in the air made it unforgettable.
Now, watching my daughter experience the same joy brings back all those memories. She absolutely loves this season—especially because she believes in Santa Claus. Every year, we bring out the Christmas tree, and she excitedly decorates it, convinced that Santa will reward her for being on his “nice” list. We haven’t told her the truth about Santa yet; we believe she’ll figure it out in time. For now, we enjoy playing the part—placing gifts under the tree and seeing her light up with joy. December also gives us the perfect pause to reflect on the year that has flown by and start planning for the one ahead. It truly is a season of love, warmth, and beautiful memories.
