When Varun told Kriti last night that he wanted to meet her tomorrow and tell her something important, she was sure that he wanted to propose to her. Her happiness had no boundaries. Kriti was singing, dancing and jumping with joy.
Kriti cancelled her office meeting to meet Varun for lunch. She was all dolled up. As Kriti was waiting for Varun at the restaurant, she was imagining the entire scenario and also rehearsing her dialogues in her mind.
When Varun arrived, Kriti was blushing. They ordered food and started conversing. When Kriti could no longer hold up the suspense, she asked Varun about the important thing which he wanted to talk about.
Varun was apprehensive. He gathered courage and told Kriti that he was in love and wanted to marry Reeti, Kriti’s sister. Kriti was happy for her sister to have found a guy like Varun but on the flip side, Kriti’s feelings were crushed. She gave a nod to their relationship and excited Varun called Reeti and told her everything. Varun thanked Kriti and left to meet Reeti.
Kriti just sat there at the table, tears rolling, finishing up her dessert.
