THE MAGIC DRUM

In the village of Sonapur, there was a very special drum. The drum was kept in the temple, and everyone in the village knew it was magic. When someone played the drum, it would tell stories! But there was one rule: the drum only worked when everyone was kind and shared.

Priya, Ravi, Asha, and Arun were best friends. They loved to play together and the Magic Drum was their favorite toy.

One day, a new boy named Vikram came to the village. He was shy and watched the other children play with the drum. Priya saw him and asked, “Do you want to play with us?”

Vikram nodded, but Ravi wasn’t sure. He liked playing the drum himself and didn’t want to share. “Maybe later,” he said.

The children sat around the drum, ready to hear a story. Ravi hit the drum, but nothing happened. He tried again, but still, the drum was silent. The children were confused. The drum had always worked before.

Just then, the village elder came by. “The drum only tells stories when everyone shares,” he said. “If someone is left out, the drum won’t work.”

Priya understood what the elderly man meant. She turned to Ravi and said, “We need to let Vikram play too.”

Ravi thought about it and realized it was wrong to leave Vikram out. He handed the drum to him and smiled. “Here, Vikram. You try.”

Vikram’s eyes lit up. He gently hit the drum and to everyone’s surprise, the drum started to talk! It told a wonderful story about a clever rabbit and a big tiger.

From that day on, the children made sure to share the drum with everyone. They took turns, and the drum told more and more amazing stories. Vikram became their good friend, and the Magic Drum never went silent again.

The children learned that sharing and being kind to everyone made their games more fun. The Magic Drum brought them closer together, and they were happier than ever.

Moral of the Story:

Sharing and being kind bring happiness to everyone. Including others helps create more joy and stronger friendships.
