As simple as a throbbing headache or cold and cough can cause discomfort and if left untreated it may become worse. We don’t realize this when we are healthy. Only when we learn that something is wrong with our health, do we begin to take the necessary steps.
I came across this quote ” If you think wellness is expensive then try illness.” How true is that, don’t you think so ?? Health is not valued until sickness comes. We get so busy in our day to day activities that often our health takes a back seat. We have to prioritise our health. If we make self-care a part of our daily routine then it becomes a part of our lifestyle.
We come across many diet plans, workout sessions and many more things related to health on various platforms. Yes, they all seem fancy and if it is something that our favourite celebrities follow, then sometimes we feel that we need to give it a try. Eat to nourish your body and exercise to be fit and not skinny. Each one of us is different. We should know what is best for us and not be hard on ourselves. Along with physical health, we must take care of our mental health too.
Self-love is not selfish. Take good care of your health. A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body.
